Tuart and Black Resin Rib Board
This Brisket and Rib Board is made from aged Tuart heartwood. I have heard of butchers who would demand that their butcher boards be made only from Tuart. Sadly, this wonderful timber is no longer easily obtainable, and I have had the Tuart slab from which this board was cut for near on 20 years. The grain patterns are truly sensational.
Indentations around the feature knot have been carefully filled with black resin and the board also has a juice groove, cutout grips and non-slip feet. It has been preserved with food safe mineral oil and selected waxes with a final treatment of Odies Oil making this board the perfect board to showcase your barbequed brisket or ribs.
This board is one of six that I was able to offer from the original Tuart slab. Unlikely to ever be offered again.
